La Palma · Canary Islands · Year-Round
Small-group spearfishing camps on La Palma's untouched Atlantic coast. Maximum 6 hunters. No beginners. No bullshit.
The Island
While everyone else crowds Tenerife and Gran Canaria, La Palma stays raw. Small enough to reach any shore in under an hour — North, South, East, West — you'll find calm water every single day of the year, no matter the wind and swell. Visibility up to 30 metres. Fish that haven't learned to be afraid.
The Catch
SHORE · YEAR-ROUND
Amberjack (Seriola) Atlantic Bonito Vieja – Parrotfish (local icon) Barracuda Mero & Abade – Grouper Atlantic Triggerfish (Gaio)BLUE WATER BOAT TRIP
Wahoo Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Large AmberjackEvery evening, dinner is whatever you hunted. La Palma's waters are clean, rich, and barely touched by commercial fishing. On the days the sea gives nothing special — and those days are rare — the Vieja alone is worth the trip. One of the tastiest fish in the Atlantic, found everywhere, year-round.
A Day in Camp
Coffee, tea, juice, fruit. Pack your snacks and water for the day.
Conditions check. Wind, swell, visibility. We decide together: fish local or move to a better zone.
2 to 8 hours, your choice. Shore fishing means you can step out whenever you've had enough — or stay in till sunset.
Clean the catch. Light the fire. Cook together what the sea gave you today.
Eat. Talk. Plan tomorrow. No stress, no schedule, just hunters around a fire.

Your Host
I've been living and spearfishing on La Palma for years. I know every zone, every current, every season. Atlantic Spear Camps is what I always wanted to find when I was travelling for spearfishing — a small group of experienced hunters, a local who knows the water, fresh fish every night over a fire.
Maximum 6 people per camp week. You are not a tourist. You are a hunter on my island.
